Cost-sensitive M2M deployments

Same job as a Teltonika RUT241 at a lower price point. When the project doesn't need the full RutOS feature surface and you want to bring the bill of materials down.

PLC and sensor integration

The DI/DO ports let you wire it directly to industrial sensors and contactors. Useful for telemetry from older equipment that doesn't have native IP connectivity.

Is it eSIM-compatible?
No — the IR302 takes physical SIMs only (dual slot). If you need eSIM, look at the Teltonika RUT241.
How does it compare to the Teltonika RUT241?
They're in the same price bracket. The IR302 has DI/DO ports for sensor wiring and a wider DC input range (9-36V vs ~7-30V). The RUT241 has eSIM and the full Teltonika RutOS feature set. Pick by feature mix, not price — they're close.
Can I manage it from the SIMSY portal?
Yes — the SIM-side visibility (signal, usage, location, events) works the same as with any SIMSY SIM. Router-level management is via InHand's free Device Manager cloud or directly via the web UI.
Does it ship with a SIM?
No — but the Hardware Bundle SKU does. The bundle is the IR302 plus 2 physical SIMs and £30 credit at £198 inc VAT (£165 ex), pre-configured and tested.
What's the warranty?
24 months manufacturer warranty from InHand. We handle returns and exchanges through the SIMSY shop.
